SourceActs is a commercial service that queries official public sources and returns metadata plus publisher locators. Each note below is our compliance position for that source, with a link to the provider’s own reuse or copyright statement. Official texts remain copyright of their publishers. We do not give legal advice.

EUR-Lex / EU Cellar

SourceActs commercially reuses EUR-Lex legal documents and Cellar metadata with attribution, as the Publications Office authorises reuse for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

WTO Documents Online

SourceActs queries unrestricted official WTO documents and legal texts, which the WTO states are free for public use. We attribute the WTO and do not use its logo or wrap paid publications.

UN Official Document System

SourceActs returns metadata and official locators (undocs.org, Digital Library). Linking to UN sites is freely permitted; we do not republish UN publications as our own corpus.

Retsinformation (Denmark)

SourceActs queries Retsinformation’s public document-search, ELI, and harvest APIs and returns official locators. Danish statutes and statutory instruments are published by the state for public use; we attribute Civilstyrelsen / Retsinformation and do not use its marks as our own.

U.S. Federal Register

SourceActs reuses Federal Register documents as U.S. Government works, which are not subject to domestic copyright under 17 U.S.C. § 105. We do not use NARA or Federal Register seals.

Brazilian federal legislation

SourceActs reuses Senado Dados Abertos legislation metadata under the Senate’s open-data licence, which allows free use provided the source is cited.

SourceActs commercially reuses Canada Gazette material under the Open Government Licence – Canada, which allows copy, adapt, and distribute for any lawful purpose including commercial use, with attribution.
